ummm...I don't know

I can't tell you how many times I have said the phrase "I don't know" in the last 6 weeks. I keep claiming to know whats "wrong" with my baby although I'm pretty sure I am incorrect over half the time.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

baby: waaawaaa- waaaa
me: oh, I think she has gas
baby: waaaa-waaa
me: actually, I don't know


baby: waaaa-waaa
me: oh, I think she wants to be held
baby: waaaa-waaaa
me: actually, I don't know


I have learned this is just a big guessing game that me and all the other moms out there are playing. There are  things we know for sure, like when baby is hungry, or wet, or poopy....but there are things that we (or at least I) will never know.

I will just keep playing this game of guess what baby wants until she is old enough to tell me or until I am wise enough to decipher the meanings of all the strains, grunts, cry's, and faces.

This has been the hardest and most awesome quest of my life. Cora is 6 weeks on Sunday! That flew by
I am so looking forward to the next few months and all the milestones I get to watch her complete.

P.S. We went back for the hearing test. She got didn't pass again, BUT I am 99% sure she can hear. When they started the noises in her ear she got huge eyes and started squirming and looking around like "what is that". Then the lady tells us that lots of babies have been failing lately. "maybe its my machine" So, they did the test on Brian and he failed too. He said he could hear everything.
